This was my assigned story for
xmmficathon. The concept of the Sylvia Plath poem and Phoenix had been tied together in my head since I first read the poem and the comic around the same time, back in high school, 1992, so it was quite a relief to finally sort it all out in a story. Even if it did make me cry hysterically.
