Thank you for writing for me! I'd love fic in any of the requested fandoms and I'm also open to crossovers or fusions between any of them. Mostly, I want you to have a good time writing, so while I've tried to make suggestions for each fandom, if they don't work for you, feel free to write what you want to write.

Things I enjoy: stories about female characters, plot, character interaction, gen fic or any of femslash/het/slash, exploring a canon world. I also like OCs as a way to expand the canon universe, so if that's a direction you want to go that's in the spirit of [community profile] rarelywritten, that would be great too. AUs are fine – both in the sense of a deviation from canon and a completely different world – as long as they're not mundane AUs. (Modern AUs are fine – superpowered coffee shops or high school on a Zeppelin would be great!)

Things I don't enjoy: non-con or rape, non-canon character deaths (canon deaths or casefile OC deaths are fair game), adult/teen or adult/child sexual interaction, zombies, apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic AUs, mundane AUs.

Dear Rarewomen Author!

You may have noticed that a lot of my requests involve "this character is great, but you can write worldbuilding with OFCs or other female characters if you want!" I am completely serious about this: while it obviously needs to fit the rules of the fest, I am up for whatever you want to write about women in these fandoms. I love genfic, femslash and female-centric het; I have no diehard OTPs that you can't split up; my headcanon is highly adaptable due to years of being in comics fandom where everything is contradictory and you have to make sense of it on your own.

Things I particularly like: teamwork, enemies forced to work together, twists on what we think we saw in canon, adventure, casefile fic, dramatic confrontations, worldbuilding, adding backstory to existing canon, dramatic femslash romance, dramatic femslash enemies, competence and women in charge of their own lives. Feel free to write something else entirely: this list is just here to give you a starting point if you want it. Crossovers with other fandoms I know are great! If you're not sure, please check with my partner [personal profile] st_aurafina. AUs in fantasy, superhero or SF settings are awesome, but I'm not fond of "fantastical canon in a mundane setting" AUs.

I do have a few things that I'd rather not read. I don't like adult/child, adult/teen or power differential sex (e.g. boss/worker or teacher/student). Some of these characters have rape or sexual abuse in their backstories and it's fine to have that in the fic, but I'd rather not have rape or sexual abuse (canon or otherwise) described in great detail. I have phobias of zombies, apocalypse and post-apocalypse fics, and house fires, so please don't include those.

Hello, lovely [ profile] rarewomen writer!

Thank you so much for writing one of these characters! All of them are crying out for more fic and I'm extremely excited about this ficathon. I've written several of these characters before, but don't worry: I'm a comics fan of long standing so I don't get terrifically attached to any particular version of canon (or my own head-canon), and love seeing different interpretations, from canon-compliant to radically different. AUs - whether of the "turning point in canon went differently" or the "everyone is a space pirate and a vampire" variety - are also very welcome but I would prefer it if the characters with superpowers kept their powers, please. Basically, anything that expands or deepens the fictional universe of any of these women would be gleefully received.

I love gen, femslash and female-centered het and would be delighted with whatever you choose to write.
