Having a broken wrist, even my non-dominant hand, is super annoying. And having a cast means no swimming which means my arthritic SI joint is kicking up a fuss. Lots of wobbly stretches and heatpacks at the moment. On the positive side, I went to the fracture clinic and the bone remains perfectly in place, so no surgery needed, there are no signs of osteoporosis, and five more weeks in the cast should fix everything. My osteoporosis worry is because I had TSH medically suppressed for 12 years due to the thyroid cancer, which can affect bone density, and because my mother has serious osteoporosis.
