Lots of people are squeeing about Leverage, saying it's full of smart, competent people. Unfortunately, my first exposure to it
This picture, with the flesh showing on the women and black man, but not the white men, and the clinging to the alpha guy, really irritates me. Then I wonder if I'm being unfair - someone in the advertising department just lined up the actors and told them to look pretty, maybe - and the show is really fun. After the recent mega-FAIL of Supernatural and serious FAIL of Doctor Who, I'm really reluctant to get into yet another show that is just going to make me throw things at the screen because of giant gender or race FAIL. I mean, not every show can be Sarah Connor Chronicles, and I can obviously get over it because I do, in fact, watch TV and read books and comics, but...I just don't need a new parcel of FAIL.
