musesfool just posted a poll about this year's Remix challenge, and this year she's raised the minimum number of fics to five per fandom. Just as I did last year, I'm posting older fics in my LJ so that everything is together, making it easy for my poor remixer. Sorry about the spamination.

This was a pinch hit, in a pairing I'd never really thought about before, let alone written. Even so, once I had thought about what Rogue might do with her post-X3 future, the whole fic fell into place, and I really loved it.

Conversations with Lady Lazarus

This was my assigned story for xmmficathon. The concept of the Sylvia Plath poem and Phoenix had been tied together in my head since I first read the poem and the comic around the same time, back in high school, 1992, so it was quite a relief to finally sort it all out in a story. Even if it did make me cry hysterically.
