Big Bang!

For the past 8 weeks, I've been working away on my second ever Big Bang, for xmenbigbang, and finally the first draft is complete! It's the longest thing I've ever written: 79,000 words of genderchange femslash X-Men First Class fic. (I say "genderchange" because "genderswap" implies to me that there's only two genders and the author swaps them over, but if anyone's got a better term, bring it on!)

I am very proud of myself, not the least for limiting myself to a maximum of 3000 words a day so that my poor arthritic wrists hang in there. Now...the editing!

I actually saw someone on my flist posting that they were uncomfortable with "genderswap", then I thought about it for aaaaages and this is what popped up. It's still not really right, but I like "genderchange" better.
