D is for Daredevil, and Amazing is for Korra

Korra is so much fun! I was worried that Asami would be an Equalist and an opponent - and this show picks up so much every time there's more than one woman on the screen - but I'm thrilled to see her joining the group instead. I have a terrible need to ship Asami/Korra building in my heart - that racing scene was awesome! It looks like they'll be spending more time together, yay! I also enjoy that the Equalists have a point - the benders *do* have the jobs, the political and police powers, and they do bully non-benders. (I wouldn't actually mind if Asami was an Equalist in some way, but I don't want her to be the opponent and away from the main group so early.)

In other Korra news, I'm looking forward to finding out what is happening with everyone's "a firebender killed my family" backstories - the Satos, Mako and Bolin and Amon have all lost family members to "a firebender". I watched AtLA all in one hit and didn't have this week-to-week wait, but I have to say I'm enjoying it, especially with the newsreel-style recaps at the start of each episode.
