Quiet time

I haven't posted for a while due to, firstly, yet another run with depression, then, as I came out of that, a co-worker's mother had to have major surgery so I was filling in for my co-worker several days a week as well as doing my own job. This is fine - she has filled in for me when I've been getting treatment - but has left me with little brain. So I've been keeping up with all of you, but not in the mood for posting. I've hardly even read any Avengers fic, but, perhaps foolishly, signed up for an Avengers fest.

Also, I went to the supermarket yesterday and saw the following sight:

WTF is that advertising? Maybe it was meant to startle me into needing more bread?

No, I checked the table! I've seen tiger bread at a cafe once, but not at the supermarket.

I've never seen tiger bread in the supermarket here, but I immediately thought of that...but there was none on the table.

I get what I call "chemical depression" when there's no reason to feel bad and yet I do. Fortunately, it lifts just as inexplicably.

As for the tiger head, I have no suggestions, but this past year, I was driven crazy by an advertisement on TV for a local furniture store, pushing their mattress selection. It featured a bunch of shots of different people jumping on the mattresses, and one very quick shot of a guy wearing a tiger's head jumping. Who was this guy? Why was he wearing a tiger's head? Why was I the only person who ever saw the ad? I still have no answers.

I ran across your Christmas card from last year recently. It made me smile. My parents decided that you two live right next to my uncle, as "small town, nowhere, Australia" (I'm sorry if I misremembered you living somewhere remote) should logically be one town over from "small town, nowhere, Colorado, USA." :D
