Today, I looked at the ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
remixredux FAQ and realised that, in my first year back in active fandom since 1997, I haven't quite qualified. To qualify, one needs to have a minimum of three 500-word stories per fandom. In Harry Potter fandom, I have two. In X-Men fandom, I have two, plus a linked 5-drabble set that might or might not qualify, I'm not sure.
Then it struck me: the stories don't have to be from this year. I'm still not going to qualify for Harry Potter, unless I write something very soon, but I've got another six X-Men stories tucked away that will more than make up the numbers. So I dug up my old laptop,st_aurafina turned the crank, and found six stories from 1995-1997, when slash was quarantined on its own sites, and everyone hated Cyclops.*
In the next few entries, I will be posting these six fics. I haven't edited them, and the disclaimers themselves are a bit of history - one of them thanks Dannell Lites.
