I've neglected to post my Yuletide fic. It was for Elektra (the movie). Comic fans, this is not the canon you're looking for.

The movie itself was very strange. The acting was oddly good, the plot was nonsensical even by comic-movie standards, and the design was really beautiful. Watching it with the intent to absorb every detail meant that I could submerse myself in its universe and its strangely compelling characters. This is not a movie I could watch in a cynical mood: I'd have to pick it to pieces. Also, it features a character who may be the only non-annoying kid sidekick ever.

Broadband is here! We may live in the sticks, but the sticks are wired! That doesn't make much sense, but if your internet speed had jumped from between 14.4 and 33.6kbps to 512kbps you'd be happy, too.

We (the comica_obscura writers) stand revealed and yes, I wrote X-Men fic. Ultimate Northstar was immense fun to write, because he was mostly interested in looking cool and snogging cute boys. No angst, no fear, no internal conflict. There's nothing like straightforward motivation to propel your story. And what's more, he dressed himself. Leather pants and a green mesh singlet are... not to my taste.

Lots of fun, and I'm looking for more challenges. HP, X-Men, comics of all kinds... maybe the HP ones are a little specifically porny for my tastes.
