Dear Rarewomen Author!
You may have noticed that a lot of my requests involve "this character is great, but you can write worldbuilding with OFCs or other female characters if you want!" I am completely serious about this: while it obviously needs to fit the rules of the fest, I am up for whatever you want to write about women in these fandoms. I love genfic, femslash and female-centric het; I have no diehard OTPs that you can't split up; my headcanon is highly adaptable due to years of being in comics fandom where everything is contradictory and you have to make sense of it on your own.
Things I particularly like: teamwork, enemies forced to work together, twists on what we think we saw in canon, adventure, casefile fic, dramatic confrontations, worldbuilding, adding backstory to existing canon, dramatic femslash romance, dramatic femslash enemies, competence and women in charge of their own lives. Feel free to write something else entirely: this list is just here to give you a starting point if you want it. Crossovers with other fandoms I know are great! st_aurafina. AUs in fantasy, superhero or SF settings are awesome, but I'm not fond of "fantastical canon in a mundane setting" AUs.
I do have a few things that I'd rather not read. I don't like adult/child, adult/teen or power differential sex (e.g. boss/worker or teacher/student). Some of these characters have rape or sexual abuse in their backstories and it's fine to have that in the fic, but I'd rather not have rape or sexual abuse (canon or otherwise) described in great detail. I have phobias of zombies, apocalypse and post-apocalypse fics, and house fires, so please don't include those.
